Job summary

Radians is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to serve as the primary technical resource for a manufacturing facility. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and improve production equipment to keep operations safe, efficient, and reliable.

The role reports to the Manufacturing Manager and covers electrical, mechanical, and controls support, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will work with equipment vendors and engineering consultants, support new installations, and

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in a related engineering technology field.
• 10+ years of industrial manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, controls, and process equipment issues.
• Support PLC-controlled equipment, VFDs, motor controls, sensors, and industrial electrical systems.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
• Assist with equipment startups, modifications, and capital improvement projects.
• Provide occasional after-hours support for critical equipment failures.
• Maintain electrical schematics and mechanical drawings (SolidWorks) and BOMs.
• Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
