Job summary

Reliance, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic/Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and facility systems.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical expertise to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime for safe, efficient plant operations. Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical/electrical/hydraulic systems, maintaining motors and drives, following electrical schematics, and performing preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience is required or preferred (3+ years).
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge in an industrial setting.
• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Experience with PLC controlled equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Install, maintain, and repair motors, drives, conveyors, pumps, and gearboxes.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting on control panels, relays, sensors, and PLCs.
• Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams; follow safety and code standards.
• Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance; maintain records and reports.
• Respond to breakdowns promptly and support continuous improvement.
