Job summary

Reser's is seeking a maintenance technician to perform preventative and urgent maintenance of production machinery and equipment. The role requires reading blueprints, troubleshooting PLC-driven systems, and coordinating with multiple departments to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of multi-craft industrial experience, knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and the ability to lift heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, technical certificate preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience as a multi-craft industrial technician.
• Proven knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift and manipulate heavy equipment.
• Work flexible hours, weekends and holidays.
• Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and urgent maintenance of production machinery and equipment.
• Prioritize downtime issues to meet production needs.
• Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment with timing and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
• Assist with installation of new equipment as required.
• Communicate appropriately with all departments, customers and other functions; attend on-site meetings.
• Perform facilities-related tasks and special projects as assigned by the Facilities and Maintenance Manager.
