Job summary

Arcosa Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician to perform preventative maintenance on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems across production equipment. You will troubleshoot, install and repair components, following schematics, blueprints and electrical codes.

You’ll test equipment, document records and participate in safety initiatives. The role requires PLC experience, the ability to read blueprints, and strong problem-solving skills to keep an industrial plant running

Qualifications

• Experience with PLCs and programming software is required.
• Performs complex repairs on production equipment and tools motors and mechanical components including basic pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Must read blueprints and schematics to perform maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs to production and mechanical equipment, machinery and components
• Determines causes of operating problems, consults schematics and orders replacement parts
• Installs and repairs electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical or electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment
• Lays out, builds, tests, troubleshoots, repairs and modifies production electronic components, parts, switch panels etc.
• May test new equipment and troubleshoot operation and make minor adjustments to equipment
• Maintains and completes all required records
• May be involved in safety committees or initiatives
