Job summary
Alsco Uniforms is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, repair and maintain large industrial textile processing equipment and facility systems. This role reports to the Chief Engineer and offers hourly pay in the mid-to-upper range for skilled maintenance work in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities include startup/shutdown procedures, electrical troubleshooting, boiler operation, welding, hydraulics, and reading schematics.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; boiler license or PLC certification may be required at some locations.
- Minimum of two years maintenance engineering experience with machinery, electricity, electronics, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, boiler and welder applications.
- Strong English verbal and written communication; ability to read and follow directions and basic math.
Responsibilities
- Installs, repairs and performs preventative maintenance on industrial processing equipment and related systems.
- Troubleshoots electrical issues and responds to daily maintenance requests to minimize downtime.
- Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment and maintains accurate records.
