Job summary
Alsco Uniforms in Brockton, MA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, repair and maintain large textile processing equipment and facility systems at our industrial laundry facility. The role involves start-up/shut-down procedures, electrical troubleshooting, boilers operation, welding, hydraulics and mechanical systems.
The Maintenance Technician will diagnose problems, perform preventative maintenance, read blueprints, and ensure safety compliance while keeping detailed maintenance
Qualifications
- Must have valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
- Minimum of two years maintenance engineering experience with machinery, electricity, hydraulics, pneumatics, boilers.
- Proficient with power and hand tools and able to read schematics.
Responsibilities
- Installs, repairs and performs preventative maintenance on industrial processing equipment and related systems.
- Troubleshoots electrical issues and performs emergency/unscheduled repairs.
- Responds to daily maintenance requests to minimize downtime.
- Maintains accurate maintenance records and follows safety rules.
