Job summary

Alsco Uniforms in Lanham, MD is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to install, repair and maintain large textile processing equipment and plant systems. You will perform start-up/shut-down procedures, troubleshoot electrical issues, operate boilers, weld, and service hydraulics and pneumatics under the direction of the Chief Engineer.

This non-exempt, full-time role offers a Monday-Friday schedule with occasional Saturdays, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, and a base hourly pay of $36.00–$38.00.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years in industrial maintenance with machinery, electricity, hydraulics and boiler knowledge.
• English communication, math and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain industrial processing equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and hydraulics/pneumatics.
• Respond to maintenance requests to minimize downtime.
• Maintain safety and follow procedures; document work.
