Conner Industries, Inc. is a leading wood packaging provider with multiple facilities nationwide. We seek a maintenance professional to run preventive maintenance, inspect and repair automated lines, and keep equipment safe and reliable in a manufacturing setting.

Ideal candidates will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues, perform repairs, and implement upgrades. On-call duties, safety adherence, and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot electronics, pneumatic and mechanical systems and repair promptly.
• Some carpentry skills are preferred.
• Industrial/Manufacturing Maintenance experience is required.
• Technical understanding and machinery maintenance experience are required.
• Welding and electrical experience are required.
• Good listening and communication skills; able to act independently.
• Ability to define problems, gather facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant facility and equipment in a fully-functioning and safe manner.
• Operate, test, troubleshoot, and maintain automated lines, systems, and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair faulty components, restoring or replacing as needed.
• Improve system performance by identifying upgrades and modifications.
• Coordinate forklift maintenance and ensure daily checklists are completed.
• Maintain a safe, compliant work environment following safety standards and regulations.
• Stay current on industry practices through training and reading relevant publications.
• Demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to work independently or in a team.
• Be available for on-call duties, including evenings and weekends.
