Job summary

Conner Industries, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep plant facilities and automated lines safe and operating efficiently. You will troubleshoot electronics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems, perform repairs, and implement upgrades to improve reliability.

The role requires industrial maintenance experience, welding/electrical skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team. On-call duties including evenings and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot electronics, pneumatic and mechanical systems and perform repairs cost effectively.
• Carpentry skills preferred.
• Industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience required.
• Technical understanding required.
• Machinery maintenance experience required.
• Welding and electrical experience.
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively.
• Self-motivated with limited independent judgments.
• Define problems, establish facts and draw conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant facility and equipment in a safe, fully-functioning condition.
• Operate, test, troubleshoot, and maintain automated lines and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair faulty components, including rebuilding or replacing as needed.
• Identify, recommend, and implement upgrades to improve performance and reliability.
• Coordinate forklift maintenance and ensure daily checks are completed.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following safety standards and regulations.
• Engage in continuous learning through training and reading relevant publications.
• Be available for on-call duties including evenings and weekends.
