Job summary

nVent, at its Eleanor, WV facility, seeks an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair manufacturing equipment and facility systems. You will respond quickly to breakdowns, participate in continuous improvement, and ensure equipment operates with minimal downtime.

The role requires strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledge, with ability to read schematics and engineering drawings. Overtime may be needed to support production needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or trade school preferred.
• Minimum of five years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment in a production environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
• Repair machinery, electrical apparatus, hydraulic units, and compressed air equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and equipment history.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, Safety, and other teams to improve reliability.
