Job summary

nVent is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Eleanor, WV manufacturing facility. You will maintain, fix, repair, and improve production equipment and facility systems to keep operations safe, efficient, and reliable.

The role emphasizes preventive, predictive, corrective maintenance and rapid response to breakdowns, with involvement in continuous improvement and equipment upgrades. Candidates should have five years of industrial maintenance experience, strong skills in mechanical,

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; technical training or related education preferred.
Minimum of five (5) years of industrial maintenance experience.
Experience maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment in a production environment.
Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, maintenance manuals, and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
Solve and repair machinery, electrical apparatus, hydraulic units, and compressed air equipment.
Maintain machinery and production equipment.
Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and maintenance emergencies to minimize production interruptions.
Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, Safety, and other teams to improve equipment reliability.
