Job summary

nVent is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform a wide range of maintenance activities across electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and plumbing systems. The role includes troubleshooting, repair, fabrication of replacement parts, and adherence to safety standards.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent (trade cert preferred) and 3 years of industrial maintenance experience. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work from schematics and blueprints.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; trade cert in maintenance preferred.
• 3 years industrial maintenance experience.
• Basic reading, writing and math; computer skills including Outlook; blueprint reading; meter operation; measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance activities safely and professionally.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical and plumbing systems.
• Disassemble, rebuild, test and adjust equipment to maintain reliability.
• Operate tools and bench work to fabricate replacement parts and maintain components.
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize uptime.
