Job summary
nVent is seeking a maintenance technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems. You will troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems and respond to breakdowns to support production uptime.
The role requires documenting work orders and parts usage, operating forklifts, and contributing to safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
- 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
- Skills: Electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical troubleshooting; preventive and predictive maintenance; maintenance documentation and work orders.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and support production uptime goals.
- Complete work orders and accurately document maintenance activities and parts usage.
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely.
- Support continuous improvement, safety, and quality initiatives.
