Job summary
FedEx Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to support industrial maintenance of material handling systems. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair across mechanical power transmission, electrical, PLC/controls, and welding/fabrication.
You will interpret schematics and manuals to diagnose faults and may assist higher level technicians. Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, 4 years of industrial maintenance experience,
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Industrial maintenance/mechatronics certificates or related trade preferred.
- Associate degree in a related area preferred.
- Four years of industrial maintenance experience with skills across mechanical power transmission, electrical and PLC/controls.
- Ability to read electrical/mechanical schematics and manuals.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on material handling systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical and PLC/controls components.
- Interpret schematics and manufacturer manuals to diagnose faults.
- Enter and retrieve data in EAM software.
- Maintain safe working conditions and attend safety trainings.
- Develop scopes of work for small local projects.
