Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking an Maintenance Technician III to support industrial maintenance of material handling systems. You will perform preventative and predictive maintenance, diagnose faults, and repair mechanical, electrical, and PLC/controls components while following safety standards.

You may assist higher level technicians and develop scope of work for small local projects. The role requires reading schematics, welding/fabrication, and experience with EAM software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certificates in Industrial Maintenance/Mechatronics or related trades or an associate degree preferred.
• Four years of industrial maintenance experience with mechanical, electrical and PLC/controls skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on material handling systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical and PLC/controls issues.
• Read and interpret electrical/mechanical schematics and manuals to diagnose faults.
• Enter and retrieve data in the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system.
• Maintain safety standards and participate in required trainings.
• May assist higher level technicians and contribute to small projects as needed.
