Job summary
FedEx Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to support the industrial maintenance of material handling systems. The role involves preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair across mechanical power transmission, electrical, PLC/controls, welding, and fabrication.
Candidates will read schematics and manuals, interpret engineering specifications, and enter data in EAM software.
Qualifications
- Four (4) years of experience in industrial maintenance with proficiency in mechanical power transmission, electrical, PLC/controls, and welding/fabrication.
Responsibilities
- Understand preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of material handling systems.
- Read electrical or mechanical schematics and engineering specifications to troubleshoot faults.
- Interpret manufacturer manuals and engineering specs to diagnose and repair system faults.
- Enter and retrieve data in the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software.
- Collaborate with other technicians and management as needed.
- Adhere to safety standards and attend required trainings.
