Job summary

Oatey is seeking a Production Maintenance Technician to sustain and improve the operation of our Omaha, NE manufacturing lines. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot PLC-related systems, and install equipment as needed.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in production maintenance, HazMat refresher, and a solid understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Safety, teamwork, and communication are essential in this role.

• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical PLC systems.
• Works in a team environment and supports problem-solving operations.
• Performs Preventative Maintenance requests timely according to standards.
• Installs equipment and components such as motors, pumps, compressors.
• Provides maintenance oversight during changeovers and setups.
• Uses hand and power tools and reads basic electrical schemes.
• Supports Lean Manufacturing goals and 6S practices in production.
• Communicates status updates to production teams and management.
