Job summary

Oatey is seeking a Production Maintenance Technician to sustain equipment and improve operations. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems, while supporting preventive maintenance and changeovers across the plant.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of maintenance experience, HazMat refreshers, and strong fault-finding skills. A high school diploma and PLC knowledge are required, with opportunities for growth within a

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of production maintenance experience.
• Haz Mat 24-hour refresher training completed and compliant.
• Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical systems; able to troubleshoot PLC and electrical devices.
• Strong attention to detail and initiative in problem solving.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Follows Lock Out/Tag Out procedures; understands safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems with minimal supervision.
• Works in a team environment and participates in problem-solving.
• Processes Preventative Maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Installs equipment and components (motors, pumps, compressors).
• Supports changeovers and production setups; provides production support.
• Uses hand and power tools and precision measuring instruments.
• Promotes Lean Manufacturing and maintains clear communication with teams.
• Develops relationships with production teams and management.
• Maintains safety guidelines; is respirator-fit ready.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
