Job summary

FedEx is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support Industrial Maintenance for material handling systems. You will perform preventative and predictive maintenance, diagnose simple issues in mechanical power transmission, electrical, PLCs, welding/fabrication, and work under supervision to address problems.

This full-time role on second shift requires a high school diploma or GED; related certificates preferred. Pay range listed: $20.35/hr - $38.43/hr, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, relevant certificates preferred.
• Experience in industrial maintenance or mechatronics with basic welding/fabrication.
• Familiar with electrical/PLC concepts and mechanical power transmission.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic preventative and predictive maintenance and repair of material handling systems.
• Diagnose simple mechanical power transmission issues at the component level.
• Adhere to safety standards and participate in trainings.
• Work under supervision for preventative/corrective maintenance tasks.
• Participate in smaller scope projects.
