Job summary

FedEx Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support industrial maintenance for material handling systems in Texas. The role involves performing preventative and predictive maintenance, performing repairs, and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical failures to keep systems running efficiently.

You will use EAM software and collaborate with higher level technicians and management on complex issues, with flexibility for different shifts and potential project involvement.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years experience in Industrial Maintenance/Mechatronics with competency in at least two specialty skills and basic welding/fabrication.
• Military experience considered for suitability.
• Associate degree or certificates may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance and repair of material handling systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and diagnose system faults.
• Utilize EAM software to enter and retrieve maintenance data.
• Follow safety standards and participate in required trainings.
• May support smaller scope projects and operate across shifts as needed.
