Federal Express Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support Industrial Maintenance for material handling, performing preventative and predictive maintenance, and repairing material handling systems across mechanical power transmission, electrical and PLC/controls, with basic welding/fabrication. The role emphasizes troubleshooting, safety, EAM data entry, and reading mechanical drawings.

Qualifications

Two years experience in Industrial Maintenance/Mechatronics with competency in at least two specialty skills in mechanical power transmission, electrical, or PLC/controls, with basic welding/fabrication skills.
Military experience considered.
Associate degree or related certificates may be considered equivalent to experience.

Responsibilities

Provide preventative and predictive maintenance and repair of material handling systems across two or more specialty skills.
Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems; escalate complex issues to higher level technicians/management.
Adhere to safety standards and participate in safety trainings.
Respond to sort calls to diagnose problems and make repairs.
Utilize Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software to enter and retrieve data.
May be involved in smaller scope projects and flexible scheduling as business needs dictate.
