Job summary

FedEx Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform preventative and predictive maintenance on material handling systems. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and PLC/controls components, assist in welding/fabrication tasks, and support safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Two years of FedEx Operations Sortation knowledge or related training may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventative and predictive maintenance and repair of material handling systems across mechanical, electrical, PLC/controls, and welding/fabrication areas.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical problems; assist higher level technicians for complex issues.
• Follow safety standards and participate in trainings.
• Enter and retrieve data in Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software.
