Job summary

FedEx is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to support industrial maintenance of material handling systems, performing preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair across mechanical, electrical, PLC/controls, and welding/fabrication areas.

You will interpret schematics, use EAM software, and may develop scopes of work for small projects while collaborating with higher level technicians. Willingness to flexible schedule is required.

Qualifications

Four (4) years experience in Industrial Maintenance with proficiency in mechanical power transmission, electrical and working knowledge of PLC/Controls and welding/fabrication skills.
Experience interpreting electrical/mechanical schematics and engineering specifications.

Responsibilities

Provide preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of material handling systems.
Interpret electrical or mechanical schematics to troubleshoot and diagnose faults.
Respond to sort calls to diagnose problems and perform repairs.
Utilize EAM software to enter and retrieve data.
Develop scopes of work for small projects at local level.
Maintain safe working environment and attend required trainings.
