Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a reliable Maintenance Tech I to join our team. You will handle repairs, maintenance, installation and troubleshooting of industrial equipment and systems, ensuring safe operation and compliance with specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; two-year technical degree preferred.
• Must pass UniFirst’s maintenance knowledge assessment test.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, install, and troubleshoot industrial equipment, systems and components.
• Perform safety checks on boilers and related systems.
• Follow blueprints, schematics, manuals, and engineering specifications.
• Record and analyze meter readings; take corrective actions as needed.
• Utilize a CMMS to document maintenance activities.
• Support overtime work as required by operations.
