UniFirst is seeking a reliable Maintenance Tech I to join our team in a maintenance role responsible for repairs, installation, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment. The position involves a Monday–Friday workweek with occasional night and weekend overtime and on-the-job training.

As a Team Partner in Maintenance, you will follow blueprints and specifications, operate CMMS, and ensure safe operation of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-year technical degree preferred.
• Minimum 6 months of industrial repair experience.
• Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license.
• Lockout/Tagout experience required.

Mansioni

• Operate and troubleshoot industrial machinery using hand tools, precision tools, and testing devices.
• Ensure safe operation of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Follow blueprints, schematics, manuals, and specs.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems using measurement instruments.
• Perform boiler chemical and wastewater pretreatment testing and adjust chemicals.
• Conduct daily/weekly boiler safety checks and repairs.
• Record meter readings and take corrective actions.
• Conduct location/system safety checks and address concerns.
• Inspect motors, belts, lubricate parts per procedures.
• Use CMMS for maintenance records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
