Job summary

Continental is hiring a Maintenance Technician to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing operations. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and support improvements across mechanical, electrical, and control systems in a fast-paced plant environment.

The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, maintaining records, and following strict safety processes on multiple shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics and blueprints.
• Self-motivated with strong troubleshooting skills and a sense of urgency.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools, multimeters and diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production equipment (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic).
• Respond to equipment breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime.
• Conduct inspections, calibrations, and adjustments to maintain safety and operational standards.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to address recurring issues and support continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment or system upgrades.
• Follow all safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and company policies.
