Job summary

Interco is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general facility maintenance and repairs to the interior and exterior of company buildings. You will be involved in setup, installation, and maintenance of production equipment and machinery.

Responsibilities include preventative and repair maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, and structures; dismantling and reassembling equipment; documenting maintenance; and small-scale metal fabrication.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, understand, and speak English.
• Knowledge of single and 3 phase electricity up to 480 volts and troubleshooting with a multimeter.
• Read electrical and hydraulic schematics/diagrams.
• Operate hand and power tools (grinders, saws, drills, etc.).
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and peers.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
• Industrial Maintenance course completion or 5 years equivalent experience.
• Experience with hydraulic systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and repair maintenance on machinery, equipment, structures, piping, and electrical systems.
• Dismantle, install, test, and troubleshoot machinery and equipment.
• Document preventative and repair maintenance as instructed.
• Metal repair and fabrication.
• Install and repair electrical apparatus and components.
• Maintain a safe, neat, and orderly work area.
• Support a positive working environment.
• Conduct minor repairs on forklifts, bobcats, and excavators.
