Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Woodland, CA is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to inspect, repair, and maintain electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems on site. You will work from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, with overtime and variable hours based on production needs.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, testing equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring safety compliance. 1–3 years of related experience and a HS diploma are preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years in a maintenance mechanic role or equivalent.
• Electrical controls technician experience preferred in manufacturing.
• Strong electrical safety, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E, NEC, OSHA standards.
• Hydraulics and pneumatics experience helpful.
• Able to read electrical diagrams and manuals.
• Lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules for hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Install and repair electrical equipment including generators and switchboards.
• Interpret blueprints, layouts and instructions to perform maintenance.
• Use welding equipment for layout and fixtures; operate hand tools and meters.
• Diagnose electrical issues; maintain machinery to order specs.
• Perform preventive maintenance and document repairs.
• Assist in building repairs and notify when major work is needed.
• Provide direction to junior staff and contribute to process improvements.
