High School Diploma or recognized equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years related maintenance mechanic experience.
Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
Proficiency with hand and power tools, shop machines and testing equipment.

Responsibilities

Understand and follow safety rules for manufacturing environments.
Repair and install electrical equipment including generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, motors, and conduit systems.
Use welding equipment for layout and fitting, including making jigs and fixtures.
Diagnose and correct electrical faults using standard load calculations.
Perform inspections to ensure machinery produces quality products per orders.
Follow preventive maintenance program and conduct equipment inspections.
Maintain buildings and perform minor repairs.
Notify management about major repairs to lighting, HVAC equipment.
Contribute to continuous improvement and may take on extra projects from the Team Leader.
Work with CMMS system for maintenance management.
