Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands, Inc. is seeking a maintenance mechanic to join our Tipp City, OH facility on the day shift. You will repair and install electrical equipment, read blueprints, and perform preventive maintenance to ensure safe, reliable production.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or recognized equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 2 years related maintenance/mechanic experience.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds repeatedly and work near moving mechanical parts.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and precautions in a manufacturing environment.
• Repair and install electrical equipment including generators, transformers, switchboards, and motors.
• Work with blueprints, layouts, and verbal instructions; read and interpret specifications.
• Weld using arc, acetylene, brazing, and flame cutting for layouts and fixtures.
• Diagnose and correct electrical system or equipment issues and perform preventive maintenance.
