Job summary

Alsco Uniforms in North Carolina seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative and specialized maintenance of the facility and its equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and maintenance policies. You will collaborate with the General Manager, Production Management, and other operations partners to support facility operations and respond quickly to equipment failures.

The role requires 2+ years of industrial maintenance, high school diploma, and relevant certifications; you will work

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in plumbing, electrical, steam, controls, PLC, welding, and mechanical systems
• 2+ years industrial maintenance experience
• Experience with electrical schematics, low voltage troubleshooting, and automation controls
• Boiler operator license (some states) and wastewater certification (some states) a plus
• Knowledge of computerized preventive maintenance systems and safe work practices (LOTO, hot work, confined space)
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the General Manager, Production Management team, and other operational partners to support facility operations
• Use a computerized Preventive Maintenance (PM) program daily to document repairs, complete maintenance activities, and respond promptly to equipment failures
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment with an emphasis on automation and control systems
• Maintain compliance with safety, environmental requirements and maintain computerized maintenance records
• Perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment and infrastructure to maximize reliability and minimize downtime
