Job summary

Alsco Uniforms is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our automated laundry facility in Durham, NC. The role focuses on preventative and preventive maintenance of equipment and systems to ensure safe, reliable operations.

Candidate should have 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience, with training in controls, PLCs, and safety compliance. A boiler or wastewater credential is a plus. This is a safety-sensitive position with opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent; additional training in plumbing, electrical, steam, controls, PLC, welding, and mechanical systems preferred.
• 2+ years industrial maintenance experience.
• Specialized knowledge and licenses: boiler operator license and wastewater certs (where required).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with General Manager and production teams to support facility operations.
• Use a computerized PM program daily to document repairs and maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment with emphasis on automation and control systems.
• Maintain compliance with safety/environmental requirements and document maintenance records.
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.
