Job summary

Alsco Uniforms is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our automated laundry facility. You will perform preventive and specialized maintenance on facility equipment, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and maintenance policies.

The role emphasizes collaboration with plant personnel, troubleshooting automation and control systems, and maintaining records in a PM system to maximize reliability and minimize downtime. Safety-sensitivity is noted.

Qualifications

High school or equivalent; additional training in plumbing, electrical, steam, controls, PLC, welding, and mechanical systems preferred.
2+ years industrial maintenance experience.
Experience with electrical schematics, low voltage troubleshooting, and control systems.
Boiler operator license (some states), wastewater certification (some states), and computerized preventative maintenance systems preferred.
Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the General Manager, Production Management team, and other operational partners to support facility operations.
Use a computerized Preventive Maintenance (PM) program daily to document repairs, complete maintenance activities, and respond promptly to equipment failures.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment with emphasis on automation and control systems.
Maintain compliance with safety, environmental requirements by completing safety training and documenting required records, supporting wastewater compliance.
Perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.
