Job summary

Alsco Uniforms in Billings, MT seeks a Maintenance Technician to install, repair and maintain large textile processing equipment and related systems. You will handle start-up/shut-down procedures, electrical troubleshooting, boiler operation, welding and hydraulics, reporting to the Chief Engineer.

Qualified candidates have at least two years of maintenance experience, strong electrical skills, PLC familiarity, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• Two years maintenance engineering experience with machinery, electricity, hydraulics, and boiler applications.
• Experience reading electrical schematics and troubleshooting PLCs.
• Strong English communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs and maintains industrial processing equipment and related systems.
• Troubleshoots electrical issues and performs preventive maintenance.
• Responds to daily maintenance requests to minimize downtime.
• Performs emergency/unscheduled repairs as needed.
• Maintains records of maintenance activities.
• Adheres to safety rules and company policies.
• Reads blueprints and manuals to ensure proper operation.
• Maintains technical knowledge through workshops and literature.
