Job summary

Viwinco Windows in Morgantown, PA is seeking experienced Industrial Machine Technicians for 2nd and 3rd shifts. The role involves repairing automated production equipment, PLC-based systems, and window manufacturing machinery.

Candidates should have an electrical background with pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical experience and be able to work a flexible shift with overtime as needed. You will perform preventive maintenance, service machines, and coordinate with managers on maintenance

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines.
• Cleans machines and machine parts, removing and reinstalling parts as needed.
• Oils and lubricates moving parts to ensure performance.
• Records and reports damaged or worn parts.
• Orders and installs replacement parts for machines.
• Identifies causes of unexpected breakdowns and repairs quickly.
• Prepares reports documenting work performed.
• Maintains shop areas, tools, and supplies.
• Schedules regular maintenance with managers and coordinates with product manager or plant engineer on new products and modifications.
• Implements tests and modifications based on test results.

We have an exciting opportunity for experienced Industrial Machine Technicians for 2nd and 3rd shift. The ideal candidate will be able to repair automated production equipment, both PLC and window base. Possess strong problem-solving skills with electrical background and pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical experience. Ability to work a flexible shift schedule is preferred. Overtime required periodically.

Hours

2nd shift: Monday-Friday, 3:30pm-12am
3rd shift: Sunday-Thursday, 11pm-7:30am
(Overtime and weekends as needed)

Compensation

• Competitive wages w/ 15% shift differential
• Quarterly and hourly bonuses
• $5,000 new hire bonus paid after 90 days; applicable to taxes

Duties/Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines.
• Thoroughly cleans machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling as necessary.
• Oils and lubricates moving parts on machines to ensure effective performance.
• Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts.
• Orders and installs replacement parts for machines.
• Identifies the causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines.
• Repairs broken machines quickly and efficiently.
• Prepares reports documenting work performed.
• Cleans, organizes, inventories, stocks, and otherwise maintains shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies.
• Coordinates with managers to schedule regular maintenance on machines.
• Collaborates with product manager or plant engineer regarding new products being added and modifications that will be required.
• Makes necessary modifications and implements tests runs; confers with product manager regarding test results and makes additional alterations to machinery as required.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
