Job summary

Qual Pac is seeking a Maintenance Technician at the Frito-Lay dedicated facility. The role involves maintaining horizontal form fill and seal equipment, shrink wrap tunnels, and related warehouse machinery. Strong communication is required to coordinate with site personnel.

Full-time position with 8 am–5 pm hours. Competitive hourly pay between $34 and $38, with emphasis on safety and reliability of equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma.
• 5 years of equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills are essential.
• Solid mechanical aptitude for maintenance of industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on mechanical handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).
• Document maintenance, inspections, and repairs in CMMS and work orders.
• Select repair parts and update parts records.
• Repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components, including minor welding and fabrication.
• Maintain batteries and chargers; ensure equipment uptime and reliability.
• Read schematics and electrical/mechanical diagrams to guide repairs and adjustments.
