Job summary

Qual Pac, also known as Quality Packaging, is hiring a Maintenance Technician - Level B at the Frito-Lay dedicated facility in Kansas. The role involves maintaining horizontal form-fill-seal equipment, shrink wrap tunnels, and related warehouse systems, with a focus on safety and reliability.

Hours are 8 am to 5 pm, full-time, with pay between $34 and $38 per hour. The successful candidate will bring strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills and collaborate with facility teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience with packaging equipment is a plus.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude.
• Able to read schematics and maintenance manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on mechanical handling equipment.
• Document maintenance records and update parts lists.
• Repair components; welding, brazing, and soldering as needed.
• Ensure OSHA safety compliance and maintain a clean, orderly area.
• Coordinate with Facility Managers and outside contractors.
