Job summary

Pregis LLC is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to uphold machinery uptime and safety on the production floor. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on packaging and processing equipment, read schematics, and document work orders in CMMS to maintain high standards.

The role requires hands-on experience with PLCs and AC/DC drives, adherence to OSHA standards, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to read electrical schematics and service manuals.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and repair of packaging/processing equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot PLC and AC/DC drive systems on production equipment.
• On-call for emergency repairs as needed.
• Read, analyze, and interpret procedures, electrical schematics, service manuals and work orders.
• Document work orders promptly in CMMS to maintain quality standards.
• Communicate issues to other departments and management to avoid production delays.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and comply with SOPs and safety protocols.
• Assist in maintaining parts inventory and report low supplies.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and use PPE correctly.
