Job summary

Kraft Heinz Avon Plant is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to keep the Cool Whip/Lunchables systems running reliably. The role covers electrical and mechanical repair, PLC logic, and traditional machinery maintenance, with emphasis on safety and GMP compliance.

Responsibilities include diagnosing defects, planning repairs, and maintaining records via PMs and SAP. The ideal candidate has at least two years in industrial maintenance and strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in industrial maintenance.
• Must pass job qualification criteria for mechanical & electrical skills testing.
• Ability to perform and train others on basic mechanical skills and preventive/predictive maintenance.
• Demonstrates good communication, leadership and planning abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance in the Maintenance function with minimal supervision.
• Supervise line for defects, plan repairs, and fix mechanical/electrical failures.
• Follow GMP policies and maintain equipment performance records (PMs, SAP work requests).
• Coordinate product changeovers with Supervisor and ensure quality/efficiency levels.
• Record unusual conditions or defective equipment via SAP protocol.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas to meet cleanliness standards.
• Observe all safety rules and participate in QRMP audits.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
