Job summary

Rise Baking Company is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and electrical systems in a food-manufacturing facility. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with food safety standards.

The role requires two years of maintenance experience with electrical skills and PLC knowledge, LOTO training, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand long shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of maintenance experience with electrical skills and PLC knowledge.
• Industrial DC and 3-Phase power systems to 480VAC experience.
• LOTO trained; food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand 8–12 hours daily.
• Able to climb fixed/portable ladders up to 12 feet.
• 5S, TPM, SAP, IFS knowledge and training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains, and repairs industrial machinery and electrical systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on motors, conveyors, and production machines.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions by observing devices and using instruments.
• Record tasks in maintenance database and communicate needs across teams.
• Install safety guards per OSHA and company policies.
• Trains other maintenance personnel as directed by the supervisor.
