Job summary

Cereal Ingredients, Inc. Maintenance Technician III position ensures reliable operation of site equipment. You install and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic components, supervise maintenance interns and production personnel, and ensure work orders are completed promptly.

Responsibilities include training interns, inspecting mechanical work, and maintaining compliance with BRC, GMP and OSHA standards. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Post-Secondary technical training and education required.
• Strong working knowledge of electrical wiring, soldering and welding equipment, PLC control systems, mechanical systems and calibration of instruments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and Outlook; familiarity with inventory software and office equipment.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of site equipment and workflow of maintenance interns and production personnel.
• Install and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic components for machinery.
• Ensure work orders are completed in a timely manner and notify when supplies are low.
• Inspect mechanical work prior to operation.
• May train maintenance interns and some production workers.
• Ensure maintenance work complies with BRC, GMP and OSHA standards.
