UniFirst Corp. is seeking a reliable Maintenance Tech II to join our team. You’ll handle repairs, maintenance, installation and troubleshooting of industrial equipment in a 1.5-billion-dollar garment services company with a Monday–Friday workweek and occasional night/weekend overtime.

You’ll work with PLCs and control systems, follow blueprints and specs, and perform safety checks and boiler/wastewater treatments. On-the-job training is provided in a supportive culture.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two-year technical degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of work experience repairing industrial processing equipment in a production environment.
• Must pass UniFirst’s maintenance knowledge assessment to be eligible for employment.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics is required.
• Lockout/Tagout experience is required.
• Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills are required.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.

Mansioni

• Troubleshoot equipment problems through observation and use of precision measuring instruments.
• Assist other maintenance personnel with emergency and non-emergency repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs and related control systems.
• Follow blueprints, schematics, manuals, and engineering specifications.
• Perform boiler chemical and wastewater pre-treatment testing and record results.
• Conduct daily and weekly boiler safety checks and perform repairs as needed.
• Inspect motors, belts, fluids, and replace filters per procedures.
• Perform basic welding for repairs on facilities and equipment.
• Inspect, clean, and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears and other parts.
• Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
