Job summary

FedEx is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support preventative and predictive maintenance on material handling systems. You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, interpret drawings, and use EAM software to track data in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 2 years in Industrial Maintenance/Mechatronics with two or more specialty skills, comfortable with welding/fabrication and a willingness to work a flexible schedule as needed.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in Industrial Maintenance/Mechatronics with competency in at least two specialty skills.
• Proficiency with mechanical power transmission, electrical systems, or PLC/controls; basic welding/fabrication skills.
• Able to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues; require guidance for complex decisions.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance and repair of material handling systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems; rely on higher-level technicians for complex issues.
• Maintain safety standards and participate in trainings.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Use EAM software to enter and retrieve data.
• May be involved in smaller scope projects and flexible scheduling.
