Job summary
Dessert Holdings is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for our Humble, TX facility on the night shift. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment, focusing on electrical and mechanical systems to maximize uptime and ensure food safety and quality.
The role requires hands-on PLC skills, 480V electrical expertise, and experience with VFDs, sensors, and automation in a food manufacturing setting.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience with electrical focus or two-year technical degree with hands-on maintenance experience.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot PLCs and automated control systems and diagnose faults.
- Maintain and repair electrical systems up to 480V.
- Repair VFDs, sensors, motors, and motor controls.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and process-control failures.
- Read electrical diagrams, schematics, and OEM docs for troubleshooting.
- Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
- Lead RCA efforts and implement corrective actions.
- Train operators on basic maintenance and keep CMMS records up to date.
