Job summary
Rise Baking Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for the 3rd shift to support plant equipment and building maintenance in a food-safe environment. The role emphasizes electrical, mechanical, and PLC-based troubleshooting while ensuring OSHA compliance and equipment availability.
The ideal candidate has a 2-year degree in electronics/maintenance mechanics or 5+ years in a maintenance role, with CMMS and PLC experience.
Qualifications
- 2-year degree or 5+ years in maintenance mechanic role.
- Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, machine shop, electrical/electronics maintenance.
- PLC experience and CMMS proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair plant equipment including mechanical and electrical systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance on all plant equipment.
- Maintain building systems such as HVAC, lighting, and forklifts.
- Fabricate replacement parts and perform repairs to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and 24V control circuits.
- Report food safety and quality issues and comply with safety policies.
