Job summary

Electrical Automation Services in Hiram, OH is hiring a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment in a food manufacturing setting. This on-site role requires 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience and PLC troubleshooting, with day and night shifts on a 2-2-3 rotating 12-hour pattern, ~14 days per month and every other weekend off.

Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience (mechanical and electrical).
PLC troubleshooting experience required; PLC programming a plus.
High school diploma or GED required; technical training or associate’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Respond to production equipment issues and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
Repair and maintain production machinery, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics to support troubleshooting and repairs.
Independently troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, including PLC I/O diagnostics and reading ladder logic to identify faults.
Perform preventive maintenance and keep accurate maintenance records.
