Job summary

Electrical Automation Services in Kent, OH is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment in a food-manufacturing environment. You will work on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, reading schematics and diagnosing PLC-controlled equipment on a rotating shift.

This role requires 3+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work independently with the maintenance team.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
• PLC troubleshooting required; PLC programming experience is a plus.
• Experience with motors, VFDs, sensors, and controls.
• Welding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment.
• Repair and maintain production machinery including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Read schematics to support troubleshooting and repairs.
• Independently troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep maintenance records.
• Identify recurring problems and help develop lasting fixes.
• Follow plant safety procedures and food manufacturing quality practices.
