Job summary

Aunt Millie’s Bakeries in Sidney, OH is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair PLCs, electrical and mechanical systems. The role requires performing safety and GMP duties, reducing downtime via PM programs, and training junior technicians.

Applicants should have 2+ years in industrial maintenance (5+ preferred), ability to work any shift, and experience with VFDs, motors, schematics, and welding. 100% on-site with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; vocational/technical education preferred.
• 2 years industrial maintenance experience required, 5 years preferred; food manufacturing ideal.
• Ability to work any shift including Sundays, holidays.
• Able to kneel, bend, lift and wear PPE; capable of handling physical demands.
• Proficiency with basic electrical troubleshooting equipment.
• Capable of wiring electric motors; troubleshooting VFDs and three-phase equipment.
• Experience welding and reading electrical schematics/blueprints is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and GMP compliance; implement Lock-out/Tag-out procedures.
• Support and enhance the Preventative Maintenance program to reduce downtime.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, electrical systems, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and motors.
• Collaborate with production, sanitation, engineering and maintenance teams.
• Organize the maintenance shop using 5S principles.
• Learn and use the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system.
