Job summary

Clarios in Toledo, Ohio is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment across conveyors, robotics, and electrical systems.

You will work on 120/208/480 VAC circuits, read schematics, perform preventive maintenance, and follow PPE/LOTO procedures. Standard schedule includes 11 days on / 3 days off with 12-hour shifts on weekends; training on 1st shift for 2 weeks is provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical and electrical repair skills.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems (480v), and preventative maintenance in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, equipment manuals, and work orders.
• PLC troubleshooting experience preferred but not required.
• Commitment to teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment including conveyors, robotics, and electrical systems.
• Diagnose issues, replace or repair parts, and make adjustments to minimize downtime.
• Work with 120, 208, and 480 VAC circuits, PLC hardware, ladder logic, and motor controls (VFDs, soft starts).
• Operate shop tools such as lathe, milling machine, drill press, grinder, and power saws as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Adhere to safety protocols including PPE requirements and LOTO procedures.
