Job summary

Electrical Automation Services in Ohio is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment in a food-manufacturing setting. This on-site role requires hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Shifts are 2-2-3 rotating 12-hour days and nights, totaling about 14 workdays per month with every other weekend off. Pay ranges from $34.10 to $36.70 per hour plus a $2.10 night premium; candidates must live within about a

Qualifications

Three or more years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent.
High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
Experience troubleshooting production equipment, electrical systems, motor controls, VFDs and sensors.
Ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools; PLC troubleshooting required.
Welding experience is a plus; basic computer skills and safety practices.

Responsibilities

Respond to production equipment issues and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
Repair and maintain production machinery, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics to support troubleshooting.
Independently troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and read ladder logic to identify faults.
Perform preventive maintenance and keep accurate maintenance records.
Identify recurring problems and help develop lasting fixes; request parts when needed.
Follow plant safety procedures and food manufacturing quality practices.
